The Beginning

"Humans like to have sex - To insinuate that this is a novel concept, exclusive to todays youth, is asinine. Ancient Egypt, Etruscans, America in the 60s/70s... The world has always had wild sexual promiscuity. The difference is that now we don't have to die of syphilis."

Why? 

FACT #1 - STDs and STIs are on the rise in the United States.

FACT #2 - People between the age of 16 and 30 are most responsible for the increase. (Although studies suggest retirees in their 60's are also bumping the numbers... an awesome and sort of awkward stat) 

FACT #3 - This is avoidable. 

But StilL... Why?

Fundamentally, we care about solving health issues. All of us work full time for health care companies trying to play by the rules of a system that routinely fails to deliver. The United States of America is the most capable healthcare system in the world. We can keep a human being alive longer than any place on earth. We can battle cancer, heart failure, and trauma injuries in ways that almost seem magical. 

SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM YOU ASK... It's really expensive, the insurance incentives are misaligned, and our government is terrible at regulating the entire thing.

It's 2023, and despite all of our capabilities, obesity is up. Diabetes is up. Preventative health measures consistently fail. Health education is at an all time low amongst young people. Most importantly to us, STD and STI cases are on the RISE!

We believe that consumer focused solutions can solve health issues where the system has failed. So we built a model in our free time to prove it. We built a company to attack a specific health issue afflicting our peers and our generation where the health system has proven unsuccessful.
